Officejet 6958
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Officejet 6958 is not printing black ink, despite just changing to a new, full HP 902XL cartridge. I've aligned and cleaned the print heads multiple times, updated my software, all to no avail. Please help.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is not printing black.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Are you facing the same issue when you make a copy?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.

Yes, black ink is not printing regardless of whether I'm printing from my computer or scanning a copy. I've already followed all the suggestions in the link and nothing has fixed my issue.

If you have tried cleaning the ink cartridges and the other steps mentioned in the attached document, but the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printer.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
