@RosarioWelle, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the cartridge issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer is out of black ink and isn't communicating to order new ink, here are some troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Connection

  • If you're using Wi-Fi, restart your printer and reconnect it to the network.
  • If you're using USB, try a different port or cable.
  • If using HP Smart App, ensure it’s updated and your printer is added correctly.

2. Restart Printer & Computer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device.

3. Check for Ink Subscription Issues (HP Instant Ink)

  • If you're enrolled in HP Instant Ink, log into your HP account and check the subscription status.
  • Ensure your printer is connected to the internet so it can communicate with HP for ink orders.

4. Manually Order Ink

  • If the printer isn't automatically ordering ink, you can order manually from HP Store or check third-party retailers.

5. Reset the Printer

  • Press and hold the Power button and the Cancel button together for 5-10 seconds to reset.

If the issue persists, let me know more details (error messages, how you're connected, etc.), and I can guide you further! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
