My printer will not print black at all. It does not print on the test pages/quality diagnostic pages at all. There is no cartridge/ink error symbol on the printer.
I haven't used the printer since the lockdown and recently returned to my uni accommodation, so assumed it had dried up. I tried the cleaning/aligning methods on the HP Smart app. After no luck I replaced the black ink cartridge, despite it not being empty and still no luck. It's completely blank there's nothing coming out onto the paper, not even lightly.
I am so confused - colour working fine, and worked fine before I left.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
