This is a new printer since December 2023. It is April 2024. My printer consistently has white lines with the black ink. I have cleaned the printer head, done alignments and tried where you dip the ink cartridge in warm water to remove a potential dry clog. I have bought numerous amounts of HP ink now and each work for a few prints then stop working. Ink levels are a little more than half full until it stops working. I’m beyond frustrated.

Update the firmware.
Excellent description and a great diagnosis. It is greatly appreciated.
If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues after installing new ink cartridges, then either the printer is faulty or the ink.
