@Ansh_45, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding black line while printing!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I see you're dealing with a black line appearing on your prints—that can be frustrating! Let’s go step by step to fix this.
A few things could be causing the issue, so let's try these troubleshooting steps:
Check the Cartridge/Toner – If you're using an inkjet printer, try removing and reinstalling the ink cartridges. If it’s a laser printer, take out the toner cartridge and check for any leaks or damage.
Inspect the Drum Unit – Some laser printers have a separate drum unit. If it's dirty or damaged, it can cause lines on prints. If possible, try cleaning it with a lint-free cloth.
Clean the Print Heads (Inkjet Printers) – If your printer has a built-in cleaning option, run a printhead cleaning cycle through the printer settings.
Check the Rollers – Paper feed rollers can sometimes accumulate dust or ink, causing streaks. Try cleaning them gently with a damp lint-free cloth.
Try a Different Paper – Sometimes, low-quality or damp paper can cause printing issues. If you have another type of paper, give it a try.
Run a Print Quality Diagnostic – Most HP printers have a tool to diagnose print quality issues. You can find this in your printer’s settings or HP Smart app.
If you've tried these steps and still see the black line, let me know the model of your printer, and I’ll be happy to guide you further!
Looking forward to your update. 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
