I went to print out my son's schoolwork.it started out fine.then it started printing all black pages.how do I fix this?

Are these solid black or mottled? Typically all black pages are either a problem with the high voltage circuit or a contact. I would try reseating the cartridge and if possible post a sample.

Hello

 

Yes, high voltage contact. First try to reinstal cartridge, maybe cartridge didnt sit well in pritner and PCR contact is loosen.

Then it goes all black with darker black lines.it went from the first photo to all black within 4 sheets.could I have possibly overloaded my printer?

Sorry I didn't realize it didn't post the pics. At first the page was missing about 1 in strip of ink . Then the second pic was black lines of different widths all the way across the bottom of the page. Then it went black with somes sections darker. It was in the process of printing a packet for school(60 pages) only got to about page 28.i did try replacing my cartridge. No such luck. And I can't get ahold of hp.
