I have a black photo  cartridge that won't fit in the regular  black ink slot .help plz

Please read this post and then provide some details.  What printer model?   HP Printers (such as the Photosmart c309n) that used a photo black cartridge had a separate slot for this, they were not interchangeable with the black cartridges.
