Hello,

 

 I have An Hp Envy printer and all colors print except for the blue. I've printer head cleaning and alignments sever al times with still no luck. please help. I've  only had this printer 3 months.

If your HP Envy printer is not printing blue correctly despite performing multiple printhead cleaning and alignment processes, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem.

 

Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the blue (cyan) ink cartridge has sufficient ink left. If it's low or empty, replace it with a new one.

Clean the Printhead Manually: Sometimes, the automatic printhead cleaning may not be sufficient. You can try manually cleaning the printhead. Here's how:

 

a. Remove the ink cartridges. 

b. Dampen a lint-free cloth or paper towel with distilled water. 

c. Gently wipe the printhead contacts to remove any dried ink or debris. 

d. Wait for the printhead to dry completely, then reinsert the ink cartridges.

 

Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges: Make sure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Third-party or refilled cartridges may not work correctly.

Print a Quality Diagnostic Page: Most HP printers have a diagnostic page or self-test page option. This page can help identify specific color-related issues. Consult your printer's manual for instructions on how to print this page.

Update Printer Firmware and Drivers: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware and drivers installed. Visit the HP website to check for updates and follow their instructions for updating.

Check for Clogs: There might be a clog in the blue ink nozzle. Some HP printers have a built-in printhead cleaning utility that can be used to clear clogs. Consult your printer's manual for instructions on how to use this feature.

Printer Maintenance: Regularly maintain your printer by keeping it clean and dust-free. Dust and debris can accumulate inside the printer and affect print quality.
