Put in a brand new tri color hp 62 ink cartridge when to print and it came out pink. Ran a print quality diagnostic and there’s no cyan.

Hi @HollyZ1234 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like there might be an issue with the new tri-color HP 62 ink cartridge, specifically with the cyan color. If the cartridge is brand new and not printing cyan,

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check the Cartridge Installation: Make sure the tri-color ink cartridge is properly installed. Remove the cartridge and reinsert it to ensure it is securely in place.

Remove the Protective Tape: Ensure that you have removed any protective tape or seal from the new ink cartridge. Sometimes, these tapes can block the ink flow.

Run a Clean Print Head Cycle: Many printers have a built-in function to clean the print heads. Check your printer manual for instructions on how to run a clean cycle. This may help resolve any issues with ink flow.

Check Ink Levels: Verify that the ink levels are adequate for all colors, especially cyan. Some printers allow you to check ink levels through the control panel or printer software.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
