Hi @A7MED3,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure the cartridges are properly installed in their respective slots.
- Open the front door and make sure the printhead carriage latch is securely closed.
Inspect Cartridges:
- Remove the cartridges carefully and inspect them for any packaging materials like tapes or seals that may not have been removed.
- Reinstall the cartridges by aligning them properly and pushing them into place until they snap securely.
Use Genuine HP Cartridges:
- Ensure you're using genuine HP cartridges as counterfeit or refilled cartridges may lead to recognition issues.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
- Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
Perform Printer Alignment:
- If prompted, perform any necessary alignments or calibration to ensure the printheads are properly set.
I hope this helps.
