If your HP Envy 6055e All-in-One Printer is not printing, follow these troubleshooting steps:

 

Basic Checks:

Ensure Power & Connection:

  • Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi or computer via USB.
  • If using Wi-Fi, check if the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.

Check for Errors:

  • Look for any error messages or blinking lights on the printer.
  • If there's a paper jam or low ink, resolve that first.

Set as Default Printer:

  • On Windows:
    • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers and right-click your printer.
    • Select Set as default printer.
  • On Mac:
    • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and set it as default.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, computer, and router.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows Only):

  • Download from HP’s official website and follow the steps to diagnose and fix issues.

  • Download and install the latest drivers from HP’s official website.

Check Print Queue:

  • In Control Panel > Devices and Printers, find your printer.
  • Right-click and select See what’s printing.
  • If there are stuck print jobs, click Cancel all documents.

Try a Test Print:

  • Print a test page directly from the printer’s control panel to see if it's a software or hardware issue.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download HP Smart App on your computer or phone.
  • The app can diagnose connectivity issues and help reset the printer.
