HP- Envy 4520 all on one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm desperate & can't afford a new printer. I bought new ink and installed. Now, it only prints black and white from Microsoft Word and my Cricut Design Space programs. It doesn't give me the option to print color or black & white either.  I can't do my work and other items I've been putting in a word document & emailing so I can print from my phone. My phone gives me option of color but on my laptop it won't. I've never had this problem but really need help fixing. I've Uninstaller and reinstalled, clean cartridges,  aligned .. nothing.

PLEASE HELP!! I don't know anything about printers and computers

@DMags1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print in color from the Windows computer. This is an issue with the printer driver. If you are able to print in color from your phone, it means the printer/ink cartridges are working fine.

Install the printer using the TCP/IP port to resolve this issue:

  1. On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Remove the existing printer entry > click on Add a printer(at the top)
  2. Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
  3. Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
  4. Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
  5. Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
  6. Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
  7. Try printing in color.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
