Try these steps:

Check the Welcome Kit

When you purchase an HP printer, it often comes with a welcome kit that includes the PIN:

  1. Look for the welcome letter or brochure included in the box.
  2. The PIN is usually printed on this document.

Check the Inside of the Printer Box

Sometimes the PIN can be found on a sticker inside the box:

  1. Carefully inspect the box your printer came in.
  2. Look for any stickers or labels that might contain the PIN.

Use the HP Smart App

The HP Smart App can sometimes help retrieve the PIN:

  1. Download and install the HP Smart App from the HP website or your app store.
  2. Open the app and create or sign in to your HP account.
  3. Follow the instructions to add your printer.
  4. Look for any subscription details in the app that might contain the PIN.

Check Email from HP

If you purchased your printer online, HP may have sent the PIN via email:

  1. Check your email inbox, including the spam/junk folder.
  2. Look for any emails from HP regarding your printer purchase or registration.
