I have an HP DeskJet 2755e and the black ink cartridge is too long for the door to shut.  It fits.  It clicks in.  But it hangs out so far that the door will not shut.  I've received the correct cartridges in the past.  The cartridge I have currently (that is too long) is the 67/305 black.
