Cartridge error, only prints black pages

HP Recommended
Deskjet 2720
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi all,

I've just installed my deskjet 2720 printer. In the app it keeps saying there is a cartridge error, that it can't move properly. But I can hear it move. The alignment page came out just normal with normal color, but when I tried to print a pdf file I got an almost black page (only the logo on the top was normal). I tried it two times more with another page and they come out mostly black too. I removed the cartridges a couple of times, but nothing happens in the app, it still says cartridge error. At the moment because of these 3 pages, the black is already almost empty. I hope someone can help.

Thanks!

@Dija21, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
