Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Had not used printer for a while - over six months. When trying to print would just 'print' plain pages, i.e. no ink being used at all. Tried all print tools on printer, none worked. Now really need to print out a document, so bought new HP cartridges for printer as old ones  might have dried up.  Inserted new 304 cartridges, error message cartridge problem comes up. Tried reinserting, same message comes up. Gone through trouble shooting virtual agent on HP website, nothing helps. HP Smart app says Cartridge Failure. Just will not work!  Printer is out of warrranty. Any ideas or time for a new printer?

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
