My printer keeps blocking and showing "non-HP chip found". I have cartridge protection turned off, but it does not work. How do I get this awful feature really turned off?

HP cartridge protection has nothing with using non-HP chip cartridges. The firmware prevents using non -HP chip [Content removed].
