HP D110a all in one printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer was working fine earlier today. Suddenly stopped, made grinding noises. I followed all directions through HP Support and tried many steps, including checking rear of printer for a paper jam. No paper jam or other objects found. Cartridge moves side to side when printer is on. Once I press "OK" to indicate paper jam is not an issue,  the same notice comes up again after much grinding, etc. Cartridge will not stop in middle. Goes to right side and stays there. If I unplug printer and try to move it by hand it will not move. I have unplugged, tried all suggestions. Nothing worked. Maybe it's time to buy a new one. This printer is very old. But why would it just stop suddenly?
