Change printer region

HP Recommended
HP Envy 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I recently moved to Chile from the US and brought my HP Envy 4520 printer. I bought blank and color cartridges for that printer in the local hp store and the printer says they are incompatible (664 instead of 63 in the US).

Based on other questions, I believe this can be fixed by reseting the printers region, however local support has not been able to help me.

Could someone send me the instructions to change the printer's region?

Best,

Ignacio

Hi,

An HP Envy 4520 uses 63 cartridges in the US or 123 cartridges in Chile.

HP 664 cartridges are not used by any HP Envy printers, but only by some HP Deskjet Ink Advantage printers, see below support document about cartridges compatibility:

You would need to get a full set of genuine HP 123 Black and Tri-Color cartridges for your printer and have the printer connected to a PC or a Mac computer, then you should contact HP Support in Chile:
