I just changed a yellow cartridge from a previously  purchased box of color cartridges a week ago with no problems. This cyan cartridge is from a newly purchased box and is the 1st cartridge I am using.

I see that you're experiencing print quality issues after changing the ink cartridges, this could be an issue with the ink or the printer ink system.

 

I'd suggest you follow the steps from the document Color or Black Ink is Not Printing to isolate and resolve the issue.

 

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

Try printing.
