I was told by tech support on the phone that I would be emailed a link to instructions on how to change the region ("regionalization") for my printer so that it will be compatible with ink cartridge number 61 (instead of 122). That email never arrived. Additionally, I was told because my printer is not only out of warranty but considered "obsolete" that doing it myself (rather than by remote by an HP tech) is my only option. I'd be more than happy to try but can someone please direct me to the instructions?!?

Hi @Audrey13,
I'd like to help!
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
And, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks so much!! As requested (though the "copy to clipboard" failed to pick up the numbers and boxes at the bottom, after it says "Enter reset code provided by support personnel," so I hand-typed it at the bottom where it belongs).[personal information removed]
