Hi,
This is expected behavior for AirPrint, as AirPrint is a generic feature for all printer models.
For Laserjet printers, there is no Best Mode option, a such exists for Inkjet printers only, therefore selecting Best won't stick, as this is not supported by the printer.
Also on Windows, you have a single quality setting (Image Ret 3600) or Economode, Best Mode is not applicable for your printer.
