One thing you can do is to run through the Print Quality checks.
The printer will "do its best" when printing on the paper surface.
Stickers come in different print surfaces -- clear sticker print surface might not be something the printer can handle.
Perhaps try printing in Black/white to check whether the printer can at least print on the sticker paper in monochrome.
After completing the troubleshooting, try printing the content on plain paper to check whether the results are closer to what you expect.
