Color printer won't print in color

HP Office Jet 3830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer won't print in color.   I tried following the instructions given to correct the problem, but when I get to "

  1. Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen"  there is NO ICON. 
  2.  
  3. I'm not savvy enough to know what to do next.

@dwinkler, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand the printer is not printing in color. To assist you better,

  • Try making a standalone copy in color from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Check the ink levels and replace any low/empty ink cartridges.

Perform the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Clean the ink cartridges and print a test page to check the result.
