I have the Problem that if I want tp print in color i have strips in it always on the same places an it´s always the cyan who prints wrong. I have tried to clean the  printhead, printhead alingment, even manually cleaning the Printhead carridge. But it´s always on the same places that cyan didn´t print cleanly. The only difference is when i say to my computer to change between normal printing qualitiy and optimized qualitiy. The last one it is not over the whole page. What could be the problem

Hi @sas36,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Printhead Cleaning: You mentioned attempting to clean the printhead. Ensure that you are performing deep cleaning from the printer's settings panel. If available, try performing the "Printhead Cleaning" multiple times, as this can often resolve minor clogging that affects specific colors.

Manual Printhead Check:

  • Remove the printhead carefully and check for any visible obstruction or ink residue. Use a lint-free cloth and distilled water (not alcohol) for cleaning. Soak the cloth and gently blot it onto the printhead.
  • Ensure there is no dried ink or debris on the nozzles, particularly for cyan.

Printhead Alignment: Since you have tried alignment, if the issue persists, consider repeating the process when you notice significant print errors. The alignment process recalibrates how the printer lays down ink to ensure precise print quality.

Change Print Quality Settings:

  • If changing quality settings on your computer momentarily alleviated the problem, ensure your print driver settings match the medium being printed (i.e., photo paper vs. regular paper).
  • Sometimes using the "Best" quality setting can help reduce banding but may require more ink usage.

Check Printer Driver and Firmware:

  • Make sure your printer driver is up to date. You can download the latest version from the HP support website.
  • Update the printer firmware to ensure you have the latest patches and improvements for printing issues.

Print a Diagnostic Page: Most HP printers can print a diagnostic page or quality report. Look for any visible issue with cyan on these documents, it may provide clues on the level of blockage or misalignment.

I hope this helps.
