Constantly being asked to reinsert printer cartridge

I had a message pop up saying there was an issue with my black ink cartridge and it had to be removed and reinserted correctly. I did this and the message was still coming up. I tried cleaning printhead contacts and contacts on the cartridge following the HP guidance on website. Still having no luck. Can anybody out there help me resolve please.

I have the same problem, seems to be a common problem with the Envy 6234 at the moment. I raised the question on here 6 days ago and it still has not been sorted. I’m wondering if its a dodgy firmware as I was asked to check that.

Finding HP support is very poor. Like I said not been able to use my printer for six days even though they have taken the monthly payment for instant ink.
