My printer has stopped printing in color properly. It seems the cyan is not working.  I have printed multiple test pages and in each case, it is apparent that the cyan is not working. I can print red, yellow and black; but unable to produce gray or green for example.  Blue shows as pink or not at all depending on shade of blue.  I have installed all new ink cartridges today. I have performed the "clean printhead" tool Multiple time as well as attempted to clean the heads manually using a soft damp cloth.  Nothing seems to work.  This problem was occurring intermittently before and was temporarily would work after performing the "clean printhead" tool (level 3) but now that does not work or shows just a little blue on the test result page. I love this printer and I have to print color on my Wife's HP printer in her home office if I need color. Help!

If you have already performed the steps from the document No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Thanks. HP express ink just mailed me a cyan cartridge. I will try the new one first, then contact support if that doesn't work.
