@MarandPa, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Cyan Ink Flood on HP Officejet Pro 8615!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Officejet Pro 8615 printer is experiencing a cyan ink flood, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Steps to Address Ink Flood Issues

Stop the Print Job:

  • Immediately stop the current print job to prevent further ink leakage.

Power Off the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to prevent any electrical issues and allow it to cool down.

Inspect and Clean Cartridge Area:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Wear gloves to avoid getting ink on your hands and carefully wipe off excess ink using a damp lint-free cloth.
  • Check for any visible ink spills or leaks inside the printer and clean those areas meticulously.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Remove the cyan ink cartridge carefully.
  • Inspect it for any damage or leaks.
  • Reinstall the cartridge securely. If it's damaged, replace it with a new genuine HP cartridge.

Cyan ink cartridge setup

Print a Test Page:

  • Once the area is cleaned and the cartridges are reseated, plug the printer back in and power it on.
  • Print a test page to check if the issue persists.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
