Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

Please add me to the list of people on this community forum who is having trouble with my 6978 OfficeJet not printing cyan. I have completed all of the suggested steps to diagnose this model but nothing has helped. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05076934  

 

It started a couple of weeks ago when I noticed the colors were off. I quickly figured out the printouts were lacking the cyan color. So even though the cartridge was still half full, I put in a new one to test. Unfortunately, there was no change.

 

It has gotten worse since then. To the point that all the blue I see on a test page is a smear that barely outlines the areas that should be there. 

 

I would be very grateful for any assistance.
