Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I bought a black cartridge 202x from Amazon some time ago. Installed it today but unfortunately the printer now makes a clunking clacking noise, doesn't print (mostly blank page). I put the old (empty) one back into the printer, and the printer works fine.  How can I return this defective cartridge? It's past the return-by date on Amazon.
