HP OfficeJet Pro 9020e All-in-One Printer

I received an error message stating my blue ink needed to be replaced but that all other cartridge levels were fine. I had a spare blue ink cartridge that was not fully used that had been taken from my previous same model printer a couple months earlier. I tried to insert said cartridge and received a message that the cartridge had already been installed and used in another printer (ok fair enough) so I removed the cartridge and inserted a brand new blue ink cartridge.

This is where it gets interesting.

Once the printer calibrated the new blue ink cartridge it then returned another error saying all three of my other colours now required replacing despite the fact I had just seen them all have sufficient levels of ink. It is now telling me to replace the three other ink cartirdiges which i dont want to do as it is completely unnecessary. Has anyone come across this before? Turning off/on printer doesnt help.

Depleted cartridges error despite being full ink cartridges?
