Deskjet 1112
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Installed my Deskjet 1112 Printer and the ink cartridges are completely dried up, service warranty is out of date, do I just have to buy new cartridges or since it was a brand new printer will I be able to claim factory error?

Hi,

When did you purchase the printer? an HP Deskjet 1112 is an older model, was manufactured quite a few years back.

If the printer was stored for a long period and the cartridges have dried up, you would need to get new cartridges, assuming that both the printer and cartridge's warranty period has passed, you would need to get new ink cartridges.

A Factory error can be claimed during the printer's warranty period, not after a long period

I purchased it in March this year but did not get it installed until 2 weeks ago.
