Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had the same DeskJet 2630 Printer since Summer 2019.  I recently had to change the black ink cartridge and now, I keep getting the error message that I must install the Starter Cartridges that came with the box.  Really????? How can I bypass this error message?

Welcome to the HP Support community.

Update the printer firmware

Here are the steps:- Click here

Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges

  1. Open the door to access the ink cartridges.

  2. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. Remove the ink cartridges from their slots, and then check the labels..

  4. Reinsert the ink cartridges into their slots.

  5. Close the ink cartridge access door.
