HP Smart Tank Wireless 450 Series

Hi!

 

I just replenished the HP Smart Task Wireless 450 series printer with Ink (HP certified), but the printer is still telling me:

1. The cyan and yellow ink is out and

2. Printed pages do not include cyan and yellow

 

I have tried the print quality functions such as realignment and cleaning, but nothing helps. I have used the automated HP Support program and also tried the automated trouble shooting.


What might be the problem? Must I buy a new printer now?

I have tried steps 1-8 in the link you sent, and it does not help unfortunately. I have the same quality issue with scans. The HP Smart program says I have zero ink level, but I had refilled them as I wrote in the original post.

Refilling ink sometimes damages the contacts on the Printer and inks. If you can try using Genuine HP ink, that would be great.

I do not see how you think you reply is helpful - I even write in the title that I used Ink from  HP. Unless you mean HP ink is harmful to the printer?

I dont understand the help page. I have a HP Smart Tank 450 Wireless series that needs to be refilled. Maybe I am using the wrong words / nomenclature, but I have a printer that is filled with these - I used the a recomemnded supplier by the HP Smart app on Windows:

Hi again!

I tried updating the firmware, but it appears I have the latest. What should I try next? Also, the HP Smart app still tells me the ink is empty though it has been refilled.
