Hi @Ria1213,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY Pro 6452 All-In-One Printer is producing pages that come out green and yellow or very dark, and you're unable to scan or fax, it could be due to several issues. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the problem.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ink Levels: Ensure that your ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Low ink levels can cause color distortion.
  • Cartridge Status: Make sure the cartridges are properly installed and not expired or damaged.
  • Clean the Cartridges: Use the printer’s built-in cleaning utility to clean the printhead and cartridges. This can often resolve color issues.

Printhead Maintenance:

  • Align the Printhead: Perform a printhead alignment using the printer's maintenance tools.
  • Clean the Printhead: If the cleaning utility doesn’t resolve the issue, you might need to manually clean the printhead. Refer to the printer’s manual for instructions.

Printer Settings:

  • Print Quality Settings: Check the print quality settings in the printer software and ensure it's set to the correct quality.
  • Paper Type: Ensure you are using the correct paper type for your print job, and that the printer settings match the paper being used.

Software and Drivers:

  • Update Drivers: Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the HP support website to download and install the latest drivers.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer and install it if necessary.

Scanner and Fax Issues:

  • Clean the Scanner Glass: Dirt or smudges on the scanner glass can affect scan and fax quality. Clean the glass with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Scanner Calibration: Run a scanner calibration if your printer software offers this feature.
  • Check Connections: Ensure that all cables are securely connected and that there is no issue with your network if scanning or faxing over a network.

Factory Reset:

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you might need to perform a factory reset on your printer:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
  2. Wait for 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
  3. Restore factory settings from the printer's control panel. Note that this will reset all settings to their defaults.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
