I just got my printer. I printed one PPT file of 15 pages -- of which only 12 were printed; the rest vanished. There were some color images but nowhere near full photo-realistic. Perhaps 30 sq inches total.
This morning I checked and my color ink cartridge says 'dangerously low'.
Quality setting was 'normal'.
I am appalled! What can I do to mitigate this?

I tried pulling the cartridges and re-inserting them. Nothing appeared notably bad, except that it is complaining constantly about depleted ink cartridges. The print information page says:

Estimated ink levels. Actual ink levels may vary: K-Unknown, CMY-Unknown

The indicated cartridges are very low on ink.

Replace these cartridges to avoid print quality problems.

Hi @DonWilde1,

I'd like to help!

The actual yield will vary depending upon the amount of content on the page. Highly "dense" documents set at best mode, may yield fewer pages, while less dense ones would yield more pages than the standard.

But, the cartridge should not run out printing a 15-page document.

Check if there is any ink leakage inside the printer.
