Each time I print, a tiny portion of the content on the left-hand side of the paper is cropped off when printing PDFs. I've tried changing the print settings. I have letter size selected in my print settings and printer settings.

Hi @jderose1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with the print margins or alignment. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
Check Page Margins in PDF Software:
- Ensure that the page margins in the PDF file itself are set correctly. Open the PDF in a viewer like Adobe Acrobat and check if there are any margin settings that might be causing the issue.
Update Printer Driver:
- Make sure your printer driver is up to date. Go to the HP website, download the latest driver for your printer model, and install it.
Adjust Printer Settings:
- Access your printer settings via the Control Panel or Printer Preferences on your computer. Look for options like “Borderless Printing” or “Fit to Page” and adjust these settings to see if they resolve the issue.
Check Paper Size and Type:
- Verify that the paper size and type settings in your printer preferences match the actual paper loaded in the printer. Sometimes, mismatched settings can cause cropping issues.
Perform a Printer Alignment:
- Some printers have alignment or calibration options in their settings. Perform a printer alignment to ensure that the printhead is correctly positioned.
Inspect Printer Rollers:
- Check if there’s any debris or damage to the printer rollers that might be causing paper feed issues. Cleaning or adjusting the rollers might help.
Print a Test Page:
- Try printing a test page from the printer’s control panel or settings menu to see if the issue persists with different types of documents.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
