I see a similar problem was posted in the past but I can't access the reply. I decided to try HP 65 XL black ink instead of the standard HP 65 cartridge. getting an error message "Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed..." Tried multiple times and it's not working. Pretty sure I'm going to have difficulty returning the cartridges after slicing open the sealed package to access it...
any suggestions?

the user guide is actually the wrong one for printer or cartridge issues. but the contact page did lead me to contacts.
final conclusion is that the cartridge isn't HP cartridge but Kodak...and probably Kodak's problem, not HP. argh.
