HP Recommended

I was gifted a new hp Envy 7640 printer. 
got it connected and setup, but it keeps printing blank pages. You can hear the printer swooshing and moving like it should, but pages remain blank. 
I did the triple clenaing steps, removed the cartridges and replaced back in. When I took them out I could see ink on the bottom so they are not empty. 
otherwise printer seems to be functioning fine. 

What could be the issue and how do I fix it?
