Product: Officejet Pro 8600 Plus
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Error message "Printer failure"  "Problem with the printer or ink system".

I am going to get a new printer due to the above error message.  How can I remove scanned memory if I cannot get past this error message.  I have followed all instructions to by pass this message to no avail.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is no scanned memory in your printer, the printer stores no data when scanning or printing, you can safely recycle it.
