HP Envy Photo 7134
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I just bought an Envy 7134 and when I started it, it was requesting for setup cartridges which I don’t have.
I’ve performed a reset for the printer from its menu, but I still get the error message about the printer requesting the setup cartridges.

Can someone please help me out? I’ve seen many people solved this problem here.

Regards,

Ovi

@Ovi-P, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you do not have the setup ink cartridges. Did you perform an OOB reset on the printer? This is the only way to resolve this issue.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Hello,

I have the same problem. I bought a printer two weeks ago and I didn't receive the SETUP cartbridge with it.

And to get the Cartbridge, we told me that I have to call "HP SUPPORT".

Before calling HP SUPPORT, I tried many things and didn't find a solution.

Can you give me a solution for this proflem ?

Thanks

Best regard

@Thisma, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you do not have the setup ink cartridges. We will have to perform an OOB reset on the printer to resolve this issue. But, you have to have regular HP ink cartridges.

If you do not have them, you can get a replacement printer from where you bought it or from HP.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
