Operating System: Linux

New Laser Jet Printer only printed 500 pages with the toner supplied with the new printer.  Is this expected with a new printer to get a short filled toner cart?  Just trying to confirm my suspicion.

Yes, it is.

The Introductory cartridge included with the printer is intended for 500 pages, later purchased toners are intended for up to 1000 pages.
