Office JetPro 9010

I have an OfficejJetPro 9010.  I am getting my ink directly from HP since I got this new printer.  I'm trying to install new ink cartridges for the first time and getting the message that "cartridge can only be used in printer that initially installed it."  I am using ink direct from HP's monthly program,  which I signed up for when I got this printer.
