Goes thru all the motions, but no ink applied. Paper is blank.

HP Recommended
HP Officejet Pro 6230 ePrinter
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Have not used printer for a year. Installed new HP ink cartridges. Sometimes would print. Now it will not print at all, even though it acts like it is. It goes thru all the motions and spits out a totally blank page. Much of the troubleshooting info asks you to print out some info, but I can't! The pages are blank! Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks.

Thanks, but the OfficeJet Pro 6230 does not have copying functionality. I have discovered that it is only black that doesn't work. Have cleaned the print head twice with alcohol, but still doesn't print black. Any other suggestions?
