I have an HP 3545 printer. I'm from the Philippines, so the ink we use is 678 Black and 678 Tri-Color.
Now, I bought a Black 678 ink cartridge from a reputable IT store here. But when I installed it, the printer displayed a message saying:
"This cartridge is not intended for use in this product."
I’ve already tried everything—I cleaned the contact pins of both the cartridge slot and the new ink cartridge. I even replaced it with another brand-new ink cartridge, but the issue remains.
I think I need a regionalization reset for this. Anyone from HP Support who can help me with my concern?

I notified the moderator of the problem.
Changing the region code can be difficult as described here.
When an agent contacts you ensure that the agent is familiar with the OS you are using. If the agent is in a different time zone try to get one in your time zone. If that is not possible you may need to choose the best time to make a contact.
You may need WhatsApp to work through the region reset procedure.
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.
4. The cartridges must be genuine HP.
5. Make sure HP Smart App is installed.
6. If the printer is not under warranty, then the ink cartridges need to be in the warranty period.
