A supplier sent us CE255JC (55J) toner for our LaserJet P3015. We normally use CE255X, but was told the CE255JC will work and they sent these for the higher capacity. I was looking online to confirm the claim that this works in our printer, but cannot find that it is compatible. When searching HP website for supplies, I cannot find either the 55J or CE255J.

I found the cartridge online at another website, but it claims the CE255JC is for the MFP M521. Nothing for the P3015.

Can anyone confirm that the CE255J* is intended for the P3015?

  Thanks.

Hi,

55J is a contract cartridge, compatible with Laserjet Managed contract printers and not intended to be sold on retail stores but to be supplied for contract printers.

As much as I aware it would likely be rejected by a Non-Managed printer series as a P3015.

Hi Shlomi,

Thank you for your reply. I will try out as soon as printer needs new toner and report back.
