I have replaced the cyan a few times without any luck. I have run all maintenance functions, but still no cyan. I tried rebooting and reinstalled the software, but no hardware updates were available. I had seen in other posts that this was resolved via private message. Please help!

Hi @dfitzmiller,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Nothing like a stubborn printer refusing to show its true colors, literally! Let’s roll up our sleeves and figure out why cyan is ghosting you."

Sure! 😊 Let's go step by step to troubleshoot the cyan ink issue on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer.

Check the Cyan Cartridge Installation

Open the printer’s ink cartridge access door and remove the cyan cartridge.
Inspect the cartridge for any protective tape (if new).
Reinsert it firmly into the correct slot and close the door.
Try printing a test page (Go to Printer Settings > Reports > Print Quality Report).

Clean the Cartridge & Printhead Contacts

Over time, ink residue or dust can block connections.

Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
Remove the cyan cartridge again.
Gently clean the gold-colored chip (electrical contacts) on the cartridge and in the printer using a lint-free cloth or cotton swab dampened with distilled water.
Let everything dry for a minute before reinserting the cartridge.
Plug the printer back in, turn it on,

Hopefully, we can coax that blue back to life! If it still refuses to cooperate, let me know, we’ll give it another nudge.
