Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 Plus

I have brand new cartridges in the printer, and the yellow is only priting green. 

Ive run the tool to clean the print head - colors look fine w/ the exception of yellow

i've run the color print test - colors look fine w/ the exception of yellow and cyan (both look greenish)

 

I created a word doc with a full page of yellow and printed, and it only printed green. i've tried 2 different cartridges with still only green printing. 

 

When i take the yellow cartridge out of the printer head, the hole where the nozzle goes is also green. 

 

Could this be a software/firmware issue in that the print head is putting out cyan at the same time? 

 

i checked and there are no firmware updates for the printer.
