HP 9025 printer. System supply problem code. Just changed magenta cartridge which was the reported issue. No change even after disconnecting from power and reconnecting. How do I get printer to work?

Apologies for the frustration—i understand you are facing supply system problem with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e printer, especially after replacing a cartridge. Here are some steps that might help:

 

Check for Cartridge Leaks

  • Remove the magenta cartridge and inspect it for leaks or damage.
  • If leaking, replace it with a new one.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Reseat the Printhead (If Applicable)

  • Open the cartridge access area and check for a printhead latch.
  • Lift the latch, slightly remove the printhead, then reseat it securely.

Update Printer Firmware

  • HP regularly releases firmware updates that can fix cartridge recognition issues.
  • Follow this link for detailed instructions on updating your printer firmware.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (For Windows Users)

  • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose cartridge-related problems.
