Subject: Color Quality Issue with Brand-New Printer – Request for Resolution

Dear HP Customer Support,

I recently purchased a brand-new  HP color laser  jet pro on 05.13.2025, but I am experiencing an issue with the color output. The print quality is unclear, with a noticeable bluish tint affecting all printed images and text.

As this printer is new, I expected flawless performance. I have carefully followed the setup instructions and checked the ink cartridges, but the problem persists. Given this, I would appreciate your assistance in troubleshooting the issue or, if necessary, guidance on replacement options under the warranty.

I would be grateful for your prompt response, as I need the printer for important tasks. Please let me know the next steps. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Troubleshooting Steps

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the blue (cyan) cartridge is properly installed and has sufficient toner.
  • Try removing and reinstalling the cartridge to ensure it is seated correctly.

Run a Print Quality Diagnostic Report:

  • On your printer's control panel, navigate to the "Reports" or "Tools" menu.
  • Select "Print Quality Report" to print a diagnostic page. This can help identify if the issue is with the cyan toner or another component.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates on the HP support website.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Verify that the printer settings on your computer are configured correctly. Sometimes, incorrect settings can cause color issues.
  • Go to the printer properties and check the color settings.

Clean the Print Heads:

  • Use the printer's built-in cleaning function to clean the print heads. This can often resolve issues with color output.
